It's a sad, sad day in our history when the government overrides the will of the American people who voted them into office and yields to evil. Obama is a socialist who wants nothing more than to change our country to a socialist body. He does not love our country...he loathes our country.
What part of this do you people not understand?
When you're standing in line at the grocery store waiting for food? When you get a number to see a doctor for an appointment 8 months in advance? When you are told that you can't have that surgery because your don't qualify for it even if you want to pay out of pocket?
When they raise interest rates and the dollar collapses are you going to understand? When going to the doctor is like standing at the DMV or going to the post office? When you can't afford to run your electricity all day? When you ration water?
How many auction signs do you have to see on the side of the road to understand? Is it easier to just watch TV and not pay attention?
We did not fight the Revolutionary War to become a socialist country. Obama does not give a SHIT about this country. He wants "social justice". He wants on an even par with the third world. We don't "deserve" to be wealthy and powerful. He thinks we're evil. It's "our time" to pay up. Read his book. He explains it quite clearly. Oh...you didn't hear that on the news??? Gee...I can't imagine why.
The American people are realizing what a huge mistake this was and we will vote out these idiots and be able to repeal much of the damage. But a lot will remain and it will take decades to fix. The far-left socialists are not going to give up easily but they can be defeated. But we can't rely on Hollywood idiots to convince us to believe in these people. We cannot believe billionaire Al Gore. We can't believe the commercials that say that some kid in Africa is feeding his four siblings because his parents died and now he can't eat. How long have we been seeing this kid in Africa on TV? All my life. How many TRILLIONS of dollars have we sent to Africa to save this kid?? HUNDREDS OF TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Why hasn't the problem been fixed? Because the money we sent went into the pocket of some tribal warlord who took the food and the money and starved off MILLIONS of people because he wanted their land.
The same thing is happening with global warming. The third world is standing there with their hands out wanting our prosperity and money not because they want to fix their problems or become a civilized nation...but because they are CORRUPT.
Americans have a problem with believing everything they hear. That's why they were so easily fooled by this socialist Obama idiot. We're too busy downloading music to our Ipods, playing on the computer, watching DVDs on our flat screen TVs, running around shopping and enjoying a rich life. Well...hate to break it to you but you're about to be rudely awakened. Your government is selling our souls to the devil and you're not even paying attention.

European Socialism
It's pretty surreal watching Obama going to Copenhagen today and I'll tell you why.
Obama's entire agenda from day one has been a socialist agenda modeled on the progressive socialist movement. This is a european movement. It has been going on forever. The BEATLES' song Revolution was written about this movement. They are rioting in the streets of Copenhagen demanding that capitalist countries give billions and billions of dollars to them...and to poor countries. We are the evil rich nation who must pay up. That's all this is. It has nothing to do with global warming. It has to do with the destruction of capitalism.
Obama's entire agenda is a european socialist agenda. Period. He has embraced this movement. All his policies are designed to collapse our government and reboot with a socialist system. Healthcare and Cap and Trade are the tipping points.
As healthcare falls apart before our eyes because of Tea Party protesters and an uprising by the American people our president is hopping on a plane to go be with "his people". He's going to save the world. He's going to embrace the socialists who are rioting in the streets demanding an end to capitalism...and I guarantee you when he's there we will hear a bunch of Anti-American bullshit.

You know...there are days I watch the news and think...people are just insane.
A far-left IDIOT claims ...in the Washington Post no less ...that Joe Leiberman is willing to be responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of people for opposing Obamacare for an "old electoral score".
Take a look at Copenhagan today. There's Greenpeace people walking around saying the world will die if a deal is not struck. Over 1000 protesters were arrested yesterday, all anti-capitalists, communist, socialists...the same group who was responsible for riots in France last year. These are the people pushing "Global warming". These are the people the MSM are defending but of course you don't see the RIOTS or the communist flags they are waving or the anti-American propaganda. These are the people trying to cripple our economy with nonsense regulation and laws to bring the industrial age to a hault. These are the people who want you to eat carrots instead of meat. Yes...this is who Katie Couric apparently feels loyal to.
And by the way...the polar caps are not melting 40% and will be gone in 10 years like Al Gore claims. It lost 25% but gained back 30%. Amazing how that works.
Between the healthcare takeover...which is really just a takeover by government. It has NOTHING to do with giving those poor, poor, sick people with no insurance healthcare. It has to do with POWER. It has to do with lining the pockets of far-left liberals. It has to do with socialism. It has to do with giving up our liberty. It has to do with government controlling our lives.
I am ashamed that the Republicans screwed up and allowed this to happen to my country. I am embarrassed for those of you who have your heads buried in the sand and don't pay attention and listen to David Letterman and Tina Fey for your political advice. I am FURIOUS that socialism is taking hold of my country.
I can sit here and post the facts all day long on Facebook but the truth is...it's going to take people losing everything before they wake up and realize what's going on and then it will be too late.

SHUT UP already
This president truly loves to hear himself talk. He gives me a headache. I have never heard more BULLSHIT come from a politician's mouth in my 46 years of life. This jerk could get a billboard on the front lawn of the White House and write on it "I AM A SOCIALIST, I HATE THE U.S. AND IT'S MY PLAN TO DESTROY IT" and the news media would ignore it.
I do NOT understand if its because the news media just doesn't believe it is really true...or if they think if they go along with this bullshit then they will get a piece of the socialist pie. I think about half are just caught up in their elitist lives and are too stupid to know the truth. The other half just don't give a crap. We are all going to pay the consequence. The changes this administration are making to our government will take decades to reverse. The socialists know how to manipulate and control and they are good at it. They won. They fooled the American people. The sit on TV now and tell everybody they are socialists and they want the country to be socialist and the news people completely don't get it. Five minutes later they are talking about how the conservatives are "scaring people".
People. Read your history books. Do you really want to live like a third world country? Do you want your CHILDREN to live in poverty??? That's what is happening right now. Our self-worshipping president who is on TV worshipping himself...and nobody is paying attention to what he is saying. Does this sound familiar? Whatever
I'm not all that upset about Obama's "speech". Which is slightly surprising I guess but not really. He did not say anything new. He's still an idiot. I trust the Generals and I also trust that if Obama was putting my friends in harms way they would let the American people know. I believe they would. I think if anything his speech has demonstrated how much his hands are tied behind his back by his own party.
The far-left needs to be thinned out and whipped back...they are too bold and powerful. I especially think George Soros needs to get the hell out of American politics. Since when does some billionaire bonehead from Britain think he can destroy the US and get away with it? Since most Americans don't pay attention and are more worried about who wins on American Idol. I find it astonishing most people do not know what's going on...they can recite headlines but do not know the details.
Do I seriously care about the Tiger Woods situation?? NO...I really, really don't. A rich guy having an affair and his wife wigs out. I do not find that interesting or any of my business. He plays golf for Heaven's sake.
It's raining and it's cold....but I kinda like it like that. It's cold enough not to be annoying.
It's the holidays and as it always is I have a mixed bag of feelings around the holidays. Enuff said about that.

Fort Hood and How
I can save the Federal government a lot of money.
Everyone keeps asking...how can this guy have dissed the U.S. and did all this stuff without ever being turned into the commander or FBI or whatever?
First of all, if he had been a regular combat soldier or anybody but an officer...this wouldn't have happened. The NCOs would have never put up with it.
Second, he was a doctor. Anybody who works in the medical fields knows exactly what I mean when I say that. Doctors do NOT diss other doctors. Period. It's a code of ethics. You don't diss another doctor (unless of course a lawyer is paying you to and that's another blog), you don't question another doctor, and you certainly do not get one in trouble.
It is the culture of the medical field. If you diss on another doctor, much less if you have the chance of being perceived as racist, you can kiss your medical career goodbye because nobody is going to want to be associated with you.
So this is not just a simple political correctness situation. This has to do with officers and the medical field in general. I dictate reports by Muslim doctors all day long. I can tell you without any doubt whatsoever in my mind that if any one of these doctors at any hospital was spouting off anti-American crap (and I've heard some myself) it would go completely under the radar. Even if they became so obnoxious something had to be done...hospital head honchos would just politely suggest they transfer to another hospital. They certainly wouldn't call the FBI.
Doctors have their own brand of mafia. They have their methods of "taking care of" doctors they don't like but for the most part they protect their own. It's a "If I diss you you can diss me back" kind of thing. It's like working in an episode of Dynasty. These people are millionaires. They live in a very exclusive club, one which is increasingly becoming ethnic, and they don't play by the usual rules. We are "mere patients" to these guys. YES...I've known many down-to-earth wonderful doctors...I love my own doctor whose office looks like a 1960s nursery school. But I've also known doctors who have ruined the careers or other doctors and who have even tried to commit MURDER!!!! I'm telling you....surgeons are PSYCHO.
But anyway.....

Slum Lord in Chief
I woke up today as I usually do. I get up, fix my coffee. I fix the kids lunch even though they are 16 and 17 and are quite capable of doing it themselves...but they love this bit of mothering and quite frankly they will be gone soon so I figure it's a small sacrifice to send them off with a home made lunch for the few years they have left in the nest.
Anyway....
After I get them to the bus stop I come home, turn on FOX and sit down at the computer. I check my email. Then I go to the few places I like to check on to keep up with the world. I like to know there's not something horrible going on like a volcano eruption or a major earthquake that has finally dumped California into the Pacific ocean. You never know. It could happen.
So last week my older sister Lynn tells me about this site that is a gay group of men from Chicago who wrote an article thanking the Bush's for going to Fort Hood after the terrorist attack to comfort the victims and did so with no news media or cameras. I looked up their site and now I'm hooked.
I love these people. They are Hilliary supporters but they are open minded and supportive of Sarah Palin....conservatives in general....or anyone who is sick of the vile, hate and evil doings of the far-left. It's about damn time!!! It's basically a liberal tea party site....but the liberals are actually liberals...not far-left hate mongers who have hijacked the Democratic party as of late.
So the HillBuzz.org site tips me off to Michelle Malkin's site that reports on the SLUM GHETTO that Obama and Valerie Jarrett were in charge of during his time in Chicago. I have heard snippets in the past about this but I had NO IDEA the extent to which this was true. This is a neighborhood that is condemned. Poor people can't even live there it's so bad. There is SEWAGE backed up in kitchen sinks. Obama and Valerie Jarrett left this legacy in Chicago. They were slum lords.
How the HELL can these people who can't even clean up a neighborhood run this country??? WHY is the news media protecting them? The news story has been around...it just hasn't been given attention. Stanford did a glowing article on Valerie Jarrett recently and the Alumni...who apparently are more intelligent than the news media....were OUTRAGED that this information was omitted from the article. Thus...the story broke how OUTRAGED the alumni were.
This is the same SLUM that that kid got killed in. How come the news media did not report this?
Obama and Valerie Jarrett STOLE MONEY from the GHETTO to get to Washington. How disgusting is that? It absolutely infuriates me. The party of "the poor" completely shit on the poor to get power. WORSE...the liberal media sat on this information to protect these scum bags to help get them elected!!!
What part of HYPOCRITE do they not get? They are sitting in Washington pointing fingers at rich people....all the while they got where they are by stealing money from poor people and forcing them to live in FILTH!!!
As Glenn Beck says...it just makes blood squirt out of my eye balls. If I were in charge...and thank God I'm not.....It would be front page news and Obama would have to answer to it. This is not some made up story. This is news that has been around for over a year. The news media has just not reported it. I'd heard of it barely but it wasn't explained enough to me what the deal was so like everybody else I gave it brief regard. Today...when the HillBuzz.org showcased it in a story and provided links to other sites to verify the information I dug deeper and saw how horrible this story is.
Every single person should be horrified about two things:
1) Obama and Valerie Jarrett are slum lords who shit on poor people and used them to get power in Washington.
2) The liberal news media sat on this information without reporting it for ideologic reasons.
Americans don't like it when the government or the news media decides what is important or not important. They also don't like being lied to.
When Valerie Jarrett decided that she was all that and could launch an attack on Fox news to try to destroy them.....she made a serious miscalculation. Her arrogance will be her downfall. As the news breaks and the other liberal news outlets pay the price for being too biased and censoring the news the more powerful Fox becomes. And it's just not Fox...it's Internet sites like HillBuzz.org, Michelle Malkin's HotAir.com, and other websites out there who are pounding the pavement determined to report to the American people the news that the liberal media is hiding.
The tide will turn. The other news media sites will have to yield. They cannot ignore the elephant in the room. I think when Fox was attacked it woke them up....it could be them next.

Distractions Going On
I started my weekend ticked off because of the Obama healthcare fiasco. Which is not unusual. He is usually doing something that pisses me off...it doesn't take much. But then I quickly became enraged because of the decision by Oba-Mao and his Oba-Mao-ist Attorney General who have decided to shit on the New Yorkers and the victims' families who are now going to be dragged through a lot of pain that is unnecessary all because Oba-Mao and friends want to keep the "Blame Bush" alive campaign going. That's the only thing they have going for them at this point and quite frankly...even that is getting old.
They are too naive and arrogant to realize that yet. They actually think that if they keep people angry at Bush then nobody will notice what a terrible job their doing. Guess what? People are noticing.
It needs to be noted that Oba-Mao waited until he was in Japan before he announced the whole Gitmo going to New York thing. That is one of the most cowardly things I've seen a president do. He knew it was a bad decision...but politics is more important. It's way more important to score political points with his party and the far left than to do the right thing. That's liberal logic at its best.
People are beginning to realize that the entire "blame Bush" thing was probably a lot more smoke than fire. History will show that he was not the evil monster that the left wanted us to believe. History will show his good deeds and will show his accomplishments without the fog of the bias. And the dangers he saw that we didn't will become apparent. Oba-Mao knows this. He knows that one day history will reveal what a liar he is. But he doesn't care. I honestly think he's so naive and egocentric that he thinks he's going to change the world so it will all be overlooked in favor of some statue they will build some day of him.

So now he's telling Congress...Don't rush to investigate the Fort Hood terrorist. It's coming out that this terrorist...who Oba-Mao didn't want anyone to rush to judgment about....was tied to terrorists in Pakistan and that intelligence knew about him all along. Interesting. Would this be the same intelligence people HE put in place recently? Would it be...the very same intelligence agencies that Nancy Pelosi is out to destroy??? I can't imagine...with all the CRAP they've had to put up with the past 8 months they'd have any problems.
Okay lets just bet our paychecks now that if it comes out this guy should have been caught a long time ago that Nancy and Oba-Mao will blame the intelligence community AND the military. Remember....just a few short years ago Nancy and friends wondered out loud "WHY do we need a military anyway???"

They are too naive and arrogant to realize that yet. They actually think that if they keep people angry at Bush then nobody will notice what a terrible job their doing. Guess what? People are noticing.
It needs to be noted that Oba-Mao waited until he was in Japan before he announced the whole Gitmo going to New York thing. That is one of the most cowardly things I've seen a president do. He knew it was a bad decision...but politics is more important. It's way more important to score political points with his party and the far left than to do the right thing. That's liberal logic at its best.
People are beginning to realize that the entire "blame Bush" thing was probably a lot more smoke than fire. History will show that he was not the evil monster that the left wanted us to believe. History will show his good deeds and will show his accomplishments without the fog of the bias. And the dangers he saw that we didn't will become apparent. Oba-Mao knows this. He knows that one day history will reveal what a liar he is. But he doesn't care. I honestly think he's so naive and egocentric that he thinks he's going to change the world so it will all be overlooked in favor of some statue they will build some day of him.

It Just Disgusts Me
I make it perfectly clear that I am not a liberal. I could sit here and tick off a million reasons why I truly despise liberal thinking...but that would not accomplish anything other than give me a forum to vent.
Which sometimes is not a bad idea.
But today...I'm just disgusted. I turn on my TV this morning at 6:00 a.m. and the first thing I see is Obama giving a freaking speech with the Japanese prime minister. Last night when I went to bed he was in a plane on his way to Japan. Do you get the impression that this guy just can't handle not being the center of the universe? Did Obama have a deprived childhood or something? Did you feel slighted in life? Did he not get enough attention at home? Or have the people around him who are using him really convince him that he is all that?
I have NEVER seen a more egotistical, narcissistic person in my life. Arrogance is just not a word that even justifies this jerk. He is dismantling this country with all his socialist buddies and lies with a straight face day after day after day....and it truly makes me sick to my stomach.
I have friends in Afghanistan. They are sitting ducks. They are in a perpetual holding pattern. Nothing....I repeat ....NOTHING is being done or accomplished. They are waiting on Mr. Everything to make a "decision".
Every day, every week.....it's a political game. The White House creates diversions so that it can accomplish something underhanded and devious without the attention of the news media. Rest assured, when something happens like today, they announced the Gitmo people coming to the US to stand trial, the news media is all aflutter, upset, that's all they're talking about. I GUARANTEE you the White House is up to no good and they want your attention elsewhere so they can get away with it.
This is what Obama is all about. Deception. Fox has gotten really good at figuring this out and busting them. Which is why they hate Fox so much. They are doing everything they can possibly do to marginalize and discredit Fox. It hasn't worked. Their ratings are through the roof. Obama comes up with a reason to give a speech to the news media at least 3 times a week between 4-5pm for one reason....Glenn Beck. Do you honestly want your president acting like a 12-year-old in middle school...trying to interrupt Glenn Beck just to be an asshole?
The one thing the Obama gods forgot in their calculations is that no matter how "wonderful" you are as a politician....Americans do not trust the government. Valerie Jarrett, David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel....they live in this little "We are the World" bubble. Well...your bubble is about to pop my friends.
I am thankful that the Obama machine has gotten so naive and arrogant that even the liberal media is starting to bristle. Of course, they are trying desperately to hang on to any sliver of pride they have left....but even they can't justify how Carter-esque this president is becoming.
Unfortunately, it will be a tragedy to the detriment of our troops that will bring this Obama experiment to a close. While Mr. Perfect preps for his next photo op and speech our enemies plot. The US is weak...the president can't make a decision....he will not fight....the US is divided and distracted....and the Congress is more concerned with lining their pockets with taxpayer money than foreign policy or security.

Military Family
I have a lot running through my mind regarding the Fort Hood attack. I'm just going to break it down into a few different posts in an attempt not to ramble on and on, being disorganized.
My first thoughts are on the military. Nothing...and I mean nothing...irritates me more than to hear somebody in the military or somebody kicked out of the military, etc., whining about having to go to war.
When you join the military you know what your mission is. You do not go into the military for an education or a job or whatever other reason without knowing your responsibilities. You KNOW that your first and only obligation and loyalty lies with the country. Period. If you join the military because you want college or whatever you STILL sign an oath dedicating your life to the safety and security of this country.
I do not care what argument you raise, if you do not get that then get the hell out of the military. On top of those whiners....the second most irritating thing is to see a mother with small children who joined the military who then whines when they get deployed. You know what your responsibilities are. You chose to join the military. You chose to have children. You know the risks. Shut the hell up and do your job or get the hell out. The military is not welfare.
The friends I have in the military would give their lives for this country and for their colleagues. They are truly dedicated and believe in our country, its ideals, its freedom, and do not question its greatness. They are neither Republican or Democrat. They are apolitical. They have been in the military greater than 20 years each, rarely watch the news and when they do its with amusement. They get upset when they see war protesters but would acknowledge they fight for their rights as well as mine.
They know EXACTLY who our enemies are.
I am forever in awe of my friends. They give me a perspective I would never have thought of. I was never in the military (although I did join the Air Force Reserves in Maryland as a medic but found out during my physical I had baby #3 on the way so that cut my military career out) but I was part of the military family and still am. It's a closed society.
This is what truly baffles me about this jerk at Fort Hood. He obviously was not part of this society. He rejected the military family. He used the military for his education and then turned on it. A radical Muslim on a mission to kill as many soldiers as he could. There are no excuses. I don't care if he faced discrimination. I don't care if he had sympathy for his fellow Muslims. I don't care if he didn't want to be deployed. You can't realistically expect to join the military and not be deployed. The one sacrifice all military people make is that they accept the unknown. You are government property plain and simple. You signed the bottom line. The country comes first. PERIOD.
So today I feel sad for all the military people who were betrayed by this jerk of person. He was never part of the family.

Far Left is out of control
So this is the danger of a biased news media that does not inform the public of information to proect their liberal ideology:
We have far-left war protestors who are infiltrating and breaking into navy bases on the west coast. Just today we had war protestors that got within 50 feet of nuclear weapons. These delusional people...who would kill your grandmother in order to make their point...are the same people who are helping the environmentalists shut down the vegetable and fruit farms in California. They are buying (with the help of the liberal government) huge pieces of land that are rich in natural resources (gas and oil) so that they can clog up the courts and block any kind of natural energy legislation that would benefit our country. These are the same people who are blowing up oil pipelines in Canada and radio towers. They are the same people Van Jones hangs with. They are the same peope Valerie Jarrett admires. They are the same people who have helped Al Gore become a billionaire.
You're not hearing these things because the alphabet news does not report it. If they do...it's a very short, small story that you are likely to miss. You probably are also missing the fact that the far-left (led by Barbara Boxer) are pushing through cap and trade legislation. Think your power bill is high now? It's about to go up times three. Think your medical insurance is high? It's about to go up anywhere between 60 and 120%.
I find it incredible that Obama has shut down Yucca flats. Guess what? We won't be utilizing nuclear energy anytime soon even though it's the most economical energy source available. But we are sending money to other third world countries to promote their nuclear energy. Does that make much sense? It's called social justice. Social justice is part of the socialist agenda that the progressives are all pushing for and guess what?

Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy: The practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; falsehood.
That pretty much sums it up for me when it comes to Obama.
President Bush wrote letters to each and every family who lost a loved one in war during his two terms. He met with most of them. He took trips to Walter Reed Army Hospital to visit wounded soldiers. He did not get pictures taken of this. When the war started he stopped playing golf because the thought it sent a negative message to the troops and he did not want them to think he was not showing respect. The only vacation he took was to his ranch in Texas. He also showed respect to Cindy Sheehan and the war protesters, not calling them un-American or un-partriotic, but telling them they had the right to protest and he respected that.
President Bush also made many decisions that were not politically popular with his party but made the decisions instead based on what was the right thing for the country. With Harry Reid saying "The war is lost" and Nancy Pelosi screeching about cutting the defense spending bill President Bush pushed ahead and launched a surge to win the war in Iraq....against all the naysayers in Washington who were more interested in scoring political points than doing the right thing.
So here we are. Obama is delaying making a decision in Afghanistan because he wants to campaign and get the NJ govenor re-elected first. He goes to Dover Delaware and gets a photo-op of him standing saluting while a casket is taken off a plane. The news media didn't report that most families REFUSED and did not allow Obama to take a photo when their family member was moved from the plane. Only one family agreed to the photo op.
He did that in Germany during his campaign. He was going to a military base to visit wounded at the hospital but when he found out he could not get pictures taken he went to the gym instead.
He apparently plays golf three times a week. He has date night with his wife once a week. He has a cocktail party every Wednesday night. He has movie night once a week.
I think this president is going to redefine the word hypocrisy.

Coyote's are spooky.
We live out in the middle of nowhere basically. If you ever wondered what country living was then Petersburg is your town. It's very small (only one yellow blinking light on the square) but it's beautiful. The only complaint I have is that we live in the bowl between mountains so cell phone service is tricky. I can look out my window and see the cell phone tower and yet there are spots in my house I can't use my cell phone. It's weird.
When my daughter and I first moved out here the first thing we noticed was how quiet it was. Especially at night. You go outside and it's pitch black. The first couple of days we turned every single light in the house on....and then realized...if something spooky out there is looking for something then we've lit ourselves up "Take us! Take us!" so we stopped doing that! There's lots of cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, roosters, donkeys, deer, and of course dogs and cats. You can go out at night and hear the cows wandering around in the fields and it sounds creepy. You can't see them but they are there!!
In the Spring there are birds like you've never seen. We have Robins that nest on our house every year. We have humming birds, blue cardinals, red cardinals, grackles, and song birds and they just cover the lawn. We love the birds. They will wake you up in the morning they are so loud.
There are owls but it's hard to determine how many because when it hoots the Mockingbirds start hooting back and it sounds like there are hundreds of them all over the place. I bet that drives the owls crazy.
When you drive somewhere at night you have to be careful because it's likely something will wander out in the road and you'll hit it.
The other night Jennifer and I came home from shopping and when we got out of the car we heard something. We were standing in the driveway in the pitch black and heard howling and yipping...Jennifer was like "What is that??" It was coyotes! We stood there and listened. It was definitely a pack of them and they had young with them. They weren't too far away. It's hard to tell which direction things are coming from because sound echoes off the sides of the mountains. We stood there in the dark staring at each other wide eyed for a good ten minutes and Jennifer said "It sounds spooky." It really was. It was like an episode of Survivorman right there in our driveway.
Those are the times I love being in the country.

Environmental terrorism.
I went to Kroger today. I went to get lettuce and there was a notice up explaining that because of the "drought" in California there was a shortage of vegetables and fruit and therefore the prices were increased. Of course, what it didn't say was that this is a man-made drought.
A progressive liberal environmental drought. The progressives are using "environmental issues" to affect the food supply. They've shut off the water in the farm areas of California that provide 60% of this country's fruit and vegetable supply. In the name of a fish...they say. Over 40,000 farm workers are unemployed now and need public assistance. John McCain even tried to transport water trucks to the farms and was shut down by Senator Boxer. Fox has covered this story extensively. Arnold Schwarzenegger has begged congress to intervene. It's not going to happen. Environmentalists are taking huge areas of land "in the name of environmental conservation" all across the country. Indigenous horses....on top of oil reserves. Huge areas of Alaska for the polar bears....the list goes on and on.
The lap dog media does NOT cover this story. If you do not watch Fox you will not see or even know this is happening. I find that absolutely mind boggling.
Why is this not being reported and what has to happen before people realize what is happening? I saw an interview last night where a group of people were questioned about socialism and most of them were completely clueless as to what socialism really is. They don't know. They've been brainwashed into thinking it's actually not a bad thing.
I don't think our forefathers established this country so it could become like socialist Europe. In fact...I'm pretty sure we left Europe to get out from under their control (The Church of England but that's another blog). Somehow this European way of thinking has influenced a lot of people without them realizing what is going to happen if the government controls our economy. Remember Russia after the Soviet Union fell and their economy collapsed? Remember France having riots because of 40% unemployment? Does food shortage and goods shortages mean anything? No more freedom of speech or freedom of the press. The luxury we live in now....don't get too comfortable. Ask Germany how fun it was when they switched to socialism....They might have a different answer than you want to hear. If cap and trade goes into effect your utility bill will skyrocket. That's straight from Obama's mouth and you can look it up on YouTube yourself. If the healthcare bill gets passed it will destroy the U.S. dollar. We cannot sustain $10 trillin dollar deficits....today alone we pay China $200 million an HOUR in INTEREST on our loans. This is before healthcare and before cap and trade. Don't tell me the progressives are this ignorant. They know exactly what they are doing. Please...be my guest...look up speeches from Ron Bloom (manufacturing czar), Anita Dunn (communications director), Mark Lloyd, FCC, the list goes on and on. They all are against a free market and they all are self proclaimed socialists and they all say this is a means to an end to capitalism. But our media does not report this. Well...except Fox...and you know how "crazy" those people are. Van Jones said these things, too but no one even knew who he was before he was forced to resign and then people were like WHAT? How does this happen??
These things scare the hell out of me.
I think once people start realizing the control that government is getting right now and start to count the radical progressives that are advising this radical president they might figure it out....you know...if they turn off American Idol long enough.
I'd like to have faith that we can fix things.

They've shut off the water in the farm areas of California that provide 60% of this country's fruit and vegetable supply. In the name of a fish...they say. Over 40,000 farm workers are unemployed now and need public assistance. John McCain even tried to transport water trucks to the farms and was shut down by Senator Boxer. Fox has covered this story extensively. Arnold Schwarzenegger has begged congress to intervene. It's not going to happen. Environmentalists are taking huge areas of land "in the name of environmental conservation" all across the country. Indigenous horses....on top of oil reserves. Huge areas of Alaska for the polar bears....the list goes on and on.
The lap dog media does NOT cover this story. If you do not watch Fox you will not see or even know this is happening. I find that absolutely mind boggling.
Why is this not being reported and what has to happen before people realize what is happening? I saw an interview last night where a group of people were questioned about socialism and most of them were completely clueless as to what socialism really is. They don't know. They've been brainwashed into thinking it's actually not a bad thing.
I don't think our forefathers established this country so it could become like socialist Europe. In fact...I'm pretty sure we left Europe to get out from under their control (The Church of England but that's another blog). Somehow this European way of thinking has influenced a lot of people without them realizing what is going to happen if the government controls our economy. Remember Russia after the Soviet Union fell and their economy collapsed? Remember France having riots because of 40% unemployment? Does food shortage and goods shortages mean anything? No more freedom of speech or freedom of the press. The luxury we live in now....don't get too comfortable. Ask Germany how fun it was when they switched to socialism....They might have a different answer than you want to hear. If cap and trade goes into effect your utility bill will skyrocket. That's straight from Obama's mouth and you can look it up on YouTube yourself. If the healthcare bill gets passed it will destroy the U.S. dollar. We cannot sustain $10 trillin dollar deficits....today alone we pay China $200 million an HOUR in INTEREST on our loans. This is before healthcare and before cap and trade. Don't tell me the progressives are this ignorant. They know exactly what they are doing. Please...be my guest...look up speeches from Ron Bloom (manufacturing czar), Anita Dunn (communications director), Mark Lloyd, FCC, the list goes on and on. They all are against a free market and they all are self proclaimed socialists and they all say this is a means to an end to capitalism. But our media does not report this. Well...except Fox...and you know how "crazy" those people are. Van Jones said these things, too but no one even knew who he was before he was forced to resign and then people were like WHAT? How does this happen??
These things scare the hell out of me.
I think once people start realizing the control that government is getting right now and start to count the radical progressives that are advising this radical president they might figure it out....you know...if they turn off American Idol long enough.
I'd like to have faith that we can fix things.

Math, liberal style.
I am not one to claim to be good at math. I avoid it at all costs...it's just not happening. But to my understanding this is what the Democrats did when they submitted the Senate's healthcare bill to the CBO:
The CBO is non-partisan so the liberals can't get them to lie for them. BUT...they can play math tricks to fool the public...which is what they did. The CBO can only report on what is given to them. The Democrats submitted an $800 billion dollar bill that really only showed 6 years of service. Four years were strictly the government collecting taxpayer dollars. The "doctor fix" which is a change in the medicare payment to doctors basically, was only for ONE YEAR of the TEN. That showed a deficit reduction. Of course, the Democrats took the $247 billion dollar "doctor fix" and then wrote a separate bill and tried to pass it. If failed.
They are doing the same thing with Pelosicare (that name just makes the hair on my neck stand straight up). So when the CBO comes out with their analysis make sure you know what the trick math was to make it look good.
I guess this is for the benefit of the liberal lap dog media so they can tell everybody how great the plan is while censoring how the Democrats used fuzzy math to make it sound good.
Anyway you look at it...it's going to add to our deficit and that in turn destroys our dollar. They are stil monetizing our debt (printing money) and denying it. We are headed for inflation three to four times higher than when Jimmy Carter took office. Or worse.
It's hard to wrap your head around those kind of numbers. I know economic issues are boring....but we need to pay attention. This is a socialist president with a socialist/communist cabinet of advisors who would love to install an entirely new system if the economy crashes. Think about it.

Somehow...and nothing surprises me anymore with the liberals....the American flag has become a sign of religion in the minds of liberal people. It's amazing to me how these things get twisted in the liberal blogs. If you go to OFA which is Obama's sugar daddy for election you will see where the DNC held a contest for artists (I wonder if any of the NEA funding found it's way in that contest) to create a video for Obama's healthcare takeover. The winner was of somebody desecrating the American flag....i.e. if you oppose healthcare you are un-American.
Well no...I think it's un-American for the DNC to try to saddle our kids and grandkids with debt that will destroy our economy and ruin our quality of life.

Healthcare Bill
It truly amazes me that this administration has devoted much of the past six months to taking over the healthcare industry. It seems Obama has to tackle 15 things at once and do a lousy job at all instead of taking one or two problems at a time and making them right. Or he's just incredibly greedy and knows that he needs to push through as much as possible before the American people figure out what he is doing.
I think it's the later. The progressives are a greedy bunch and they know they can only fool people for so long. People are realizing how many far-left progressives he has surrounded himself with and have appointed czar jobs and they are realizing he is trying to turn this countries policies hard left and fast. We shall see in the few elections coming up what the price will be to the Democrats. The Democrats, you know, the regular liberals who aren't all wacked out like the progressives, are the ones who will suffer most.
But healthcare going to affect all of us. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. I know EXACTLY what government run healthcare looks like and if the progressives have their way it is going to ruin the standard of living we all have. Just drive down to the nearest city hospital and walk around for about 15 minutes. There's your future. It's not pretty.
I worked with social services in the DC area for 5 years. There was so much corruption in the government medical system it was all we could do at our program at Georgetown to keep the patients fed and hydrated. If a government worker was caught abusing or stealing from a patient they just transferred them to another floor. If the administrator making $200K a year even showed up for work it was a rarity. There were 18 government administrators per patient and we knew maybe 5 of them. If we bought a patient a comfort item or gift we would come in the next day and it was gone. Stolen by the government staff. It was the most depressing, pathetic thing I ever saw in my years working in the medical field. It was ugly. So I know exactly what our healthcare system will be like under the government and I know people are not going to like it.
But that's not the point. The Democrats are trying their best to lie and deceive people about this plan and I hope people realize this. The cost alone is dangerous. If this plan goes into effect we are going to have an economic breakdown. My question is this....is this on purpose? If we have an economic meltdown the progressives will claim victory. They do not want free market...they want a socialist government. If the economy fails what better reason for the government to takeover and restructure our entire government. Obama has exploited every "crisis". Do I think he is above creating crises in order to achieve his goals.
No I don't. I think the Democrats and progressives would do that and more. It's all about power and money. Don't be fooled into thinking it's anything else. This is not to "save" poor people. This is about money and power.
If Obama and the treasury department keep printing money and monetizing debt the value of the dollar is going to continue to drop. They have already indicated they are interested in a "world currency". People need to start paying attention.

Afghanistan
I get really ticked off when I talk about Obama and the Afghanistan war. I have three friends in Afghan. Two have been going back and forth there since the war began. I've been tuned into that war from the beginning. The news media largely ignored this war. They were too busy trying to dog George Bush about Iraq. They were too busy glorifying the death count to turn the public against it. They were too busy glorifying Cindy Sheehan and her ten radical, ignorant Code Pink protestors to know jack squat about the war or what was happening there. They labeled it the "good war" so if it was the "good war" why would they cover it? It was of no use to them since they couldn't use it to attack the Republicans. Nancy Pelosi tried to cut off supplies once and everybody erupted so she gave in.
I recall talking to my friend, Kevin, one Thanksgiving while he was there. He couldn't eat Thanksgiving dinner at the canteen because Hilliary Clinton was there. I asked him why and he said "Because they have it all shut down while she is there...we're not allowed in." About 13 hand-picked liberal officers were chosen to eat Thanksgiving dinner with her for a photo op...everybody else had to eat rations, you know, the dog food in a box. That's showing compassion for the troops, don't you think?
Just a side note...when George Bush went to Iraq on Thanksgiving he got on the server line and served the troops...and nobody was cut off. Was it a photo op? Absolutely. But he kept serving after the cameras were off and he thanked every single military person who came through that line to eat.
Anyway, back to Afghanistan. My friend kept in touch with me every day. He would tell me things going on and there would be nothing on the news about it. Or if it was in the news it was wrong. Sometimes it would be sort of right but mostly wrong. Sometimes it's the military doing that. They will nudge the military to put out a story when they are trying to produce a reaction or cause a reaction out in the field. Those kind of things I understand. But I don't understand how the media can just ignore it altogether because politically it was not advantagous for them.
Until now. Of course now they want to whine about it. Obama seems to be listening. What I am reading is complete ignorance. Trying to run a war from Washington was the #1 mistake we made in Vietnam. Johnson tried to control the war this way and it resulted in tens of thousands of dead military people and civilians. There is a disadvantage for the military in this fight between them and Obama, obviously. The military has to be obedient...and they are. They can't fight back. They can't release information to the public to support their side. They can leak it....or do like McChrystal did...but they can't come straight out and give their perspective. Obama can and is lying and continues to do so to this day. We've had a very clear strategy in Afghanistan and Rahm Emanuel is full of crap.
They are stalling as long as they can to gauge what the far left is going to do. They want the three big elections going on in the northeast to be behind them before they announce their decision. I find it interesting that Obama can go golfing, go on David Letterman, go to three political fundraisers and go to Copenhagen to brown nose the Olympic committee but he can't sit down with the general HE PICKED to figure out what to do. You don't ask your generals to assess their mission and report to you and then say "Well...maybe I'll do something else."
I don't ask the lawn mower guy how to fix my washing machine.
Now their excuse....which is a new excuse every week now....is that the Afghan government is corrupt. YOU THINK?? Gee, I think if it had not been corrupt in the first place we wouldn't be there...DUH! Did we go to Iraq because we knew there was a government all ready to jump in and go to work? Did we attack Japan because we thought their government was just peachy and it was just the military we wanted to evaporate? What an IDIOTIC thing to say.
You don't get more corrupt than the Afghanistan people. As my friend told me, "We hire them and they work as guards to the base during the day and they go home at night and shoot mortars at the base." We hire truck drivers from Pakistan to drive in supplies for our troops. Sometimes the trucks make it...sometimes they don't. (It's actually quite a neat process how they secure the supplies that I'll explain more in detail on another day). The drivers take "heroine breaks" in the dessert sometimes and get lost. Or fall asleep. Or get attacked because Afhgan people HATE Pakistani people and they get beat up or worse. The truck drivers only get a sliver of the money we pay them. The money goes to tribal leaders. The tribal leaders are all warring against eachother. It's all about money and power in Afghanistan. They have no electricity or running water or TV sets. Maybe a very, very, small elite few have those things. These people we are fighting have no idea there is another world out there. They wouldn't know what a microwave oven was if you showed it to them. Donald Trump would be the guy with all the sheep. A group moves in and gives a village sheep, cooking oil and supplies for a promise they will protect them from other tribes and there you go....you just had an election. There is no sense of right or wrong. It's about survival.
For Rahm Emanuel to go on the news and say "Oh...we had no idea what we were getting into" is a big fat LIE. He's trying to simplify a situation in a political way because he knows the American people don't really know these things. Their best strategy has been to villainize Bush so that's what he is doing. It's popular and the people fall for it.
So my point is....Yes, we know Karzi is corrupt. The entire country is corrupt. We knew Iraq was corrupt yet we were still able to stabilize the country so a government could be put in place (with the Iraqi's choosing their leaders) and a system could be started. We trusted the military on the ground to do this because they knew how best to do it. It's the same thing in Afghanistan. The people will not vote if they do not feel safe. If the bad guys have all the sheep....they will win.

Amusing Jennifer Moment
So I've been wondering lately....why does the oven smoke every time I turn it on? Today I found my answer...
I'm standing in the kitchen chatting with my daughter, watching JJ eat...which he always does when we're standing in the kitchen because if we go in there, in his mind, we're going to steal his food so he must eat it immediately. Jennifer casually mentions she is cooking some hotdogs in the oven, which of course leads to the conversation about when we're going to get another microwave oven because ours went kaput and now the kids think we live in the stone age. I actually enjoy NOT having the microwave for a change so that is still on hold.
But anyway, after about ten minutes Jennifer says "I think my hotdogs are done". So I open the door and WHAT? The hotdogs are bubbling away right there on the rack....no pan in site!
"Jennifer! What in the world are you doing?"
She thinks it's extremely funny, my alarm at this...
"Look! It even puts the little black lines on them like the grill."
So now I know why the kitchen fills with smoke when I turn the oven on.

A Day of Football
Sunday is a very important day around my house. Football is taken very seriously. I am a Denver Broncos fan and have been since John Elway graduated from Stanford and ended up with Denver. He was so fun to watch...and most importantly, he was a good sport when he lost.
But Denver aside I love watching most of the games throughout the season and have my favorites. Peyton Manning of course tops the list. How can you not love Peyton Manning? He is the ultimate good sportsman. He and his entire family...and of course Eli. Just a good all American family in my opinion. I like Tom Brady but not when he wins all the time if that makes sense. He gets all stuck up when he always wins and besides, it's no fun when one team blows away everybody else. It makes for a boring season.
So we look at the NFL schedule and pick our games...me and my daughter, Jennifer. Basically, Jennifer will only watch the Colts play, being a newcomer to football. She has her limits sitting in front of the TV watching. But if Denver plays and it gets really exciting she gets into it. Or the Vikings. I love watchin Brett Favre.
So today I'm watching the Colts game and the Vikings game (flipping back and forth) and Jennifer is in the living room on the computer (where the big 32" TV is that is hooked up to the stereo). Since the Colts are beating the Rams 21 to 3 I figure okay, I'll switch over and watch the Vikings and Pittsburg because it's 10 to 7 and a closer game...and I hate Pittsburg. Jennifer walks all the way back into my room and says "Why aren't you watching the Colts?" I explain to her the reason..(I'm always on the computer working...even during football). So she switches the channel, watches about 3 minutes then shuffles back down the hall to the living room. Again, I change it to the Vikings. Three minutes later she shuffles back down the hall..."Do the Colts still have the ball?"....click....watches 3 minutes then shuffles back down the hall.
So I yell down the hall..."Why don't you turn the Colts game on in there?"
"That's too much trouble"....She answers.
Three minutes later here she comes again =) This time she laid down in the bed, though so that must mean she's serious this time. Hopefully, Brett Favre will keep up the good fight without me.
No Denver today...they are on their Bye week. A 6-0 season so far...which is incredible. Tonight it's the Giants....
UPDATE: Oh, well...Favre lost but the Colts blew away the Rams. The Patriots won in Europe...which...I think I think it's odd and stupid that we are playing in Europe. They could care less about American football. They keep trying to make us soccer fans...and it hasn't worked (thank God! But Denver aside I love watching most of the games throughout the season and have my favorites. Peyton Manning of course tops the list. How can you not love Peyton Manning? He is the ultimate good sportsman. He and his entire family...and of course Eli. Just a good all American family in my opinion. I like Tom Brady but not when he wins all the time if that makes sense. He gets all stuck up when he always wins and besides, it's no fun when one team blows away everybody else. It makes for a boring season.
So we look at the NFL schedule and pick our games...me and my daughter, Jennifer. Basically, Jennifer will only watch the Colts play, being a newcomer to football. She has her limits sitting in front of the TV watching. But if Denver plays and it gets really exciting she gets into it. Or the Vikings. I love watchin Brett Favre.
So today I'm watching the Colts game and the Vikings game (flipping back and forth) and Jennifer is in the living room on the computer (where the big 32" TV is that is hooked up to the stereo). Since the Colts are beating the Rams 21 to 3 I figure okay, I'll switch over and watch the Vikings and Pittsburg because it's 10 to 7 and a closer game...and I hate Pittsburg. Jennifer walks all the way back into my room and says "Why aren't you watching the Colts?" I explain to her the reason..(I'm always on the computer working...even during football). So she switches the channel, watches about 3 minutes then shuffles back down the hall to the living room. Again, I change it to the Vikings. Three minutes later she shuffles back down the hall..."Do the Colts still have the ball?"....click....watches 3 minutes then shuffles back down the hall.
So I yell down the hall..."Why don't you turn the Colts game on in there?"
"That's too much trouble"....She answers.
Three minutes later here she comes again =) This time she laid down in the bed, though so that must mean she's serious this time. Hopefully, Brett Favre will keep up the good fight without me.
No Denver today...they are on their Bye week. A 6-0 season so far...which is incredible. Tonight it's the Giants....
UPDATE: Oh, well...Favre lost but the Colts blew away the Rams. The Patriots won in Europe...which...I think I think it's odd and stupid that we are playing in Europe. They could care less about American football. They keep trying to make us soccer fans...and it hasn't worked (thank God! This is Exciting!!
I've decided to start a blog. Not because I really need to waste more time typing and writing and not working...but because I think it would be more constructive to put all my thoughts and passions in a consolidated space rather than drive all my friends on Facebook nuts. So whenever I feel it's necessary to alert my "peoples" I will do so on my blog...but reserve the right to still drive people nuts on Facebook when something alarming happens. Which is actually quite often with this President in office.
We'll see how it goes.
Also, throughout the day while I visit sites I often find things I just love and want to keep...so this is a good place to show it. I hope that's not illegal...is it? I guess I'll find out.
