Somehow...and nothing surprises me anymore with the liberals....the American flag has become a sign of religion in the minds of liberal people. It's amazing to me how these things get twisted in the liberal blogs. If you go to OFA which is Obama's sugar daddy for election you will see where the DNC held a contest for artists (I wonder if any of the NEA funding found it's way in that contest) to create a video for Obama's healthcare takeover. The winner was of somebody desecrating the American flag....i.e. if you oppose healthcare you are un-American.
Well no...I think it's un-American for the DNC to try to saddle our kids and grandkids with debt that will destroy our economy and ruin our quality of life.
There are several stories popping up where people have complained about American flags being displayed openly. This is just stupid.
We have 150,000 of our troops stationed in harms way....how do you think they feel when they turn on the news and see the American flag being attacked like this? It all goes back to this anti-American theme the progressives have been touting and it makes me ill. We should not be apologizing for our country. We should be PROUD of our country. If you have ever lived anywhere else in this world you will appreciate how great this country is. I want to see these liberal feminists go over to any other country and see how women are treated and then come tell me how bad they have it. It's just ridiculous.
We have the best country in the entire world. We have the greatest military in the world. We live a quality of life that is not even realized in Europe. Are we perfect? No. Could we be better? Yes.
But never question how great this country is or question displaying the American flag. I don't think the DNC should use this symbol of our country for partisan politics. It's disrespectful.
